Well, isn’t this just precious.
Without hesitation, Beyoncé gracefully responded that she would be happy to join him, and here we are! I think that Kid President is doing a great job is showing kids (and adults) that your age doesn’t mean a thing; and that with a little persistence and hard work, your wildest dreams can definitely come true. Tomorrow, World Humanitarian Day will honor those amazingly selfless individuals that donate their time, talent and lives in order to make the world a better place. Last year in an iconic performance, Beyoncé beautifully sang power ballad “I Was Here” at the United Nations, mesmerizing audience members as they watched countless acts of global humanitarianism glide across the walls of the amphitheater. Not only was it completely awe-inspiring, but it definitely challenged me to think of what more I could do to incite change in my own community. In my mind, we ALL have the capacity to be humanitarians, and we should strive daily to empower one another to become better global citizens. No matter how big or small the action, we can make a difference.
