With the millennial generation constantly in the spotlight, it’s no wonder that this story is picking up a little bit more attention as of late. I’ve always believed that my 20s are a critical time of development, and not to be necessarily looked at as the time to slack off. From relationships to careers to finances, clinical psychologist Meg Jay gets very candid in this TED talk about the importance of this decade and how 20-somethings like myself shouldn’t wait to hit the big 3-0 to start living their lives. To my fellow 20-somethings, don’t feel bad for being particular about your job, your friendships/relationships or what you want to get out of your life. Right now is the time to take risks, make mistakes, meet new people and enhance the person that you are destined to be.
