Happy Monday Everyone!
Okay, so I may be a little biased since I am such a HUGE JT fan, but this man is winning something serious right now! After bringing SexyBack in 2006, we all know that Justin decided to take a little break from the music scene, but now he’s back and classier than ever. And let me tell you, I am here for every minute of it.
So without delay, here are three reasons why I think Justin is winning right now:
1. His brand continues to expand beyond the music. Not only does Justin own part of the new MySpace (in case you forgot) but as of Friday, he is the new Creative Director for Bud Light Platinum. A big win for Steve Stoute’s advertising and marketing agency Translation, the official commercial for BLP was shown immediately after JT and Jay-Z’s Grammy performance. AND Justin has teamed with Target to promote his new album The 20/20 Experience which will drop on March 19th. Watch the BLP commercial here and pre-order your Target copy of the new album here !
2. He’s back on stage where he belongs! As a veteran in the game, Justin knows that right now is the time to maximize his exposure. Performing at Mark Cuban’s Super Bowl party last weekend (in which he premiered two new songs) and performing at one of the biggest awards shows of the year, he’s reminding his fans of the greatness that we’ve missed these last six years. Now JT, all we want to know is, WHEN ARE YOU GOING ON TOUR?! WHEN DO TICKETS GO ON SALE? HOW CAN WE PURCHASE THESE TICKETS TO SEE YOU LIVE? Which leads me to my next point…
3. He keeps us wanting more! From that one-minute “I’m Ready” video he released a month ago to the “Suit & Tie” lyric video that had everyone going absolutely crazy, Justin sure does know how to make people wait…and he thinks it’s funny too! He also released a new song titled “Mirrors” (produced by Timbaland) late last night that will be on the album as well. Word on the street is, he’s also releasing a documentary that will show us behind the scenes footage of him creating The 20/20 Experience. *faints* I’m so excited I could scream.
