Aww, well isn’t this just the joy of cola.
A while back, Pepsi announced that it would be teaming up with multi-platinum super start Nicki Minaj for a new global campaign. In addition to its newest spokesperson, the number two soda company will be partnering with Twitter to present live streaming concerts on its social networking website, featuring Mother Barbz herself. The soda pop giant also announced last week that it has teamed back up with the late King of Pop in a global campaign initiative to further promote the new concert series (and to evoke some nostalgia, of course.)
I think the commercial is very cool and the “Live For Now” tagline is a great way to market to young people. And I must say, it made me rather thirsty for a cold Pepsi.
